I paid $350 dollars for a review from Kirkus Review. Five weeks later I received a review that was pretty positive, however, the facts were off on several points. As my book is self-published, they have a rule that you must use the whole review. I wrote them and told them my issue. They sent me a template to outline where the facts were wrong.The book is full of action and just as full of plot holes, including scenes that are illogical or disconnected from the main narrative. Secondary characters are ignored until a scene requires them to assist Violet or to be killed in the endless violence that plagues their school.
